Three PhD students at the Ocean Life Centre will defend their dissertations in the coming weeks giving us all something to look forward to as 2020 draws to a close.

First up is Neil Maginnis who will defend his thesis "The biogeography of Scleractinian reef corals: Evidence from beta diversity" at 13:30 on the 13th of November.

Two weeks later, we have Camila Serra Pompei who will defend her thesis "Trait-based models of plankton communities: from individuals to ecosystem functions" at 13:00 on the 27th of November.

Last but not least, we have Jérôme Pinti who will defend his thesis "Vertical migration: structure and function of pelagic ecosystems" at 13:00 on the 4th of December.

The defenses will take place online over Zoom. All times are Copenhagen times (CET/UTC+1). Keep an eye on our Twitter for information on how to register https://twitter.com/OceanLifeCentre. Hope to see you there!
