With his talk on "the predictive potential of species distribution models for plankton" Philipp Brun won the Price for the best early career scientist presentation at the 3rd international symposium on effects of climate change on the World's oceans. The symposium was held in Santos in Brasil (March 23-27) and covered topics from physical processes in the oceans and their interaction with ecosystems, to resource provision and ocean governance.
